Fourteen (14) Workers Saved from a Factory

Fourteen (14) workers that were locked up in a factory for almost a week forced to produce masks, amid COVID-19, were found by Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs MEC, Nomusa Dube-Ncube in her unannounced visits to retailers. This was after a tip off that a company located in Glen Anil, Durban was over working its employees, subjecting them to inhumane conditions. The company is now under investigation by law officials including its guards that harassed government officials by pointing a rifle at them. This is according to a statement released by the Department.
