Background:The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sections; and to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination  and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. It also coordinates interaction between line functions or sector departments established or envisaged provincial government training institutions, tertiary institutions, and other external service providers. The institution is looking for the experienced and qualifying individuals to fulfil this new role.  Applications are invited from South African Citizens, residing in KwaZulu-Natal.

Requirements: Degree in Office Administration – with Finance and Project Management (with Cost and Management Accounting as an advantage) (NQF Level 7)

Remuneration:             DPSA Level 9

Duration:                     Permanent

Experience:                 3 years Office administration experience with Finance aspects.

Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support to the Finance Unit, Schedule & coordinate meetings for the unit, Reconciliation of creditors accounts, Processing of invoices and creditors reconciliation. Processing of monthly payroll, Reconciliation of all other balance sheets accounts, Stakeholder Liaison and other unit’s ad-hoc tasks.
