ADMINISTRATOR: INNOVATION ADVERTISEMENT REF: AI- 01/2020

Background: The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sections; and to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination  and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. It also coordinates interaction between line functions or sector departments established or envisaged provincial government training institutions, tertiary institutions, and other external service providers. The institution is looking for the experienced and qualifying individuals to fulfil this new role.  Applications are invited from South African Citizens, residing in KwaZulu-Natal.

Requirements: A Degree/ National Diploma in Administration and Project Management (NQF Level 7) (Information Technology will be an added advantage)

Experience: At least 3 years’ relevant experience and expertise in ICT Administration experience.

Remuneration: DPSA Level 9

Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities: Administrator Innovation duties, include but not limited to: Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Innovation Unit, Scheduling & coordinating meetings, Coordination of events and Stakeholder Liaison.
