Applications are invited for  Experiential Learner opportunities for::

                                 Data Collector Supervisors.

Background:   The Moses Kotane Institute is looking to appoint suitably qualified KZN youth (between 18-35 years to this position. The opportunity is not full-time but will be aligned with research projects from time to time.

Minimum Requirements &       Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9)

Competencies:   Computer Literacy, Ability to operate a smart mobile device, good communication skills, Proficient in English and isiZulu, Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel,);  A driver’s licence

Responsibilities:    Supervise fieldwork data collectors. Carry out the data collection process in accordance with all reasonable instructions given by the MKI (i.e., going door-to door to collect information from individuals and/or households; utilise the work tools allocated for the data collection). Collect data with the level of care, skill, competence, diligence, and judgement which may be expected of a professional. Administrative duties (i.e., completion and submission of data collectors time sheets)

Terms of Appointment:    12 Month, project-based experiential learner contract with a stipend of R738 per day
