Background: The Moses Kotane Institute is an entity of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government through the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA), with a mandate to conduct world class research into training, skills development, and provincial strategic economic sections; and to strategically lead in innovation and maritime co-ordination and implementation activities to respond to the needs of the provincial economy. It also coordinates interaction between line functions or sector departments established or envisaged provincial government training institutions, tertiary institutions, and other external service providers. The institution is looking for the experienced and qualifying individuals to fulfil this new role. Applications are invited from South African Citizens, willing to relocate to KwaZulu-Natal.
Requirements: Honours Degree in Information Communications Technology. Industry certificates will be an added advantage.
Experience: 5 years ICT experience.

Responsibilities: The Manager: ICT duties, include but not limited to Managing the implementation of sub-unit strategic and operational plans. Managing and coordinating the acquisition, development, maintenance and use of computer and telecommunication systems within the organisation. Management of sub-unit budget. Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. People Management.
