VACANCY – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

The Moses Kotane Institute (MKI) is looking for a strategic, dynamic, motivated and an energetic suitably qualified South African citizen to serve as the CFO of the entity.

REQUIREMENTS: Postgraduate qualification in Accounting or Finance (Level 8).  CA (SA) would be an added advantage.

COMPETENCIES:  Minimum of 10 years financial management experience in the public sector of which at least 5 years should be at Senior Management level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  A chief financial officer (CFO) is the senior executive responsible for leading the financial actions of MKI. The CFO’s responsibilities include audit and risk management, governance and compliance, financial planning, control, reporting, and any other necessary responsibility allowable by law.

DURATION:  The incumbent to the above position will be offered a 5 Years Fixed-Term Performance-Based Contract, DPSA Grade 14.
